Run several Fine–Hwang configurations and combine them.
⚠️ Removed from the default public API: neither this ensemble nor a
genuine mode-by-consensus beat their best member anywhere in the benchmark
(the mode can fall below its worst voter under a parsimonious
tie-break). Kept behind the ensemble feature so the benchmark figures
remain reproducible.
Design note: the ensemble is not expected to beat the best single statistic in the well-specified case; its purpose is insurance under misspecification (contamination, unknown family). The benchmark will decide whether it stays.
